Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Branch Manager to lead and manage branch operations, drive sales performance, recruit and develop Sales Managers and Insurance Managers (IM) / Insurance agents, and ensure sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, team-building, and business development skills within the BFSI sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard Sales Managers and Insurance Managers (IM) / Insurance agents

  • Drive monthly agent activation and ensure consistent productivity

  • Conduct Agent Training & Development programs

  • Conduct Sales Manager (SM) Training & Development sessions

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the branch sales team

  • Drive new business acquisition and achieve branch targets

  • Plan and organize local marketing and business development activities

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines

  • Build strong customer and channel relationships

  • Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports

Eligibility & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Insurance or Banking Industry

  • Prior experience in team handling or branch operations preferred

  • Graduation mandatory

  • Age between 30 to 45 years

  • Candidates with good job stability preferred (frequent job changes not preferred)

  • Should be actively employed at the time of interview

Additional Preference

  • Candidates from a Banking background will be given preference
  • Strong preference for candidates from banking sales roles with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Must have a strong customer base, especially HNI clients

Additional Note

  • The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) will initially be assigned one or two Sales Managers to manage and will be responsible for building and developing an IM team directly mapped to the ABM.
  • The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) will have an annual goal sheet target of ₹48 Lacs ( Self + Team Target); AMB's delivering 80% or above performance will be considered for promotion to a Branch Manager (BM) full time leadership role, managing a team of 4–5 Sales Managers.
  • For non-branch locations, the Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) will be provided a monthly budget of ₹25,000 to manage branch operational expenses
